Thank you for supporting Sarah's Law.
Here is your Weekly Update.

1.2 million signatures -- now what?

Here's how you can help in next 6 months to get Sarah's Law passed:

1.) Distribute bumper stickers, yard signs, T-shirts, campaign buttons, church bulletin flyers.
We need to make Sarah's Law a household word in Calif. before the Fall campaign begins.

Please email us <info@FriendsofSarah.com> your name, address, email and how many materials you could distribute.

And by early July we will have bulletin inserts to go to as many churches as possible in July.

2.) Help us build up our email list. Send us lists of email addresses of your friends, relatives, co-workers, or friends from church or other groups.
Our Friends of Sarah email list is about 700. We would like to build to 7000, so we can build a strong grassroots effort in California.

We would send only messages with substance, and no more frequently than once a week.

3.) Help us set up speaking events at your local PTA or service clubs (Kiwanis, Rotary, etc.).
This is a movement to bring families together and stop child predators-- even those with no religious motives should be interested.

4.) Make your own TV ad. With YouTube technology, anyone can make a 30- or 60-second ad-- use the story of a young girl you know, make a spoof of arguments from the other side, use animation, use materials already on the FriendsofSarah.com and dramatize them.

Friends of Sarah is offering $1000 for the best YouTube video to promote Sarah's Law submitted by June 15, 2008. $500 for 2nd and 3rd place, and $250 for four honorable mentions.

Email us the url of your YouTube submission, your name, address, and background information on the YouTube entry.

5.) Social networking. If you have a MySpace, Facebook, or similar accounts, use these to drive visitors to the Friends of Sarah website.

We welcome any suggestions about making our website welcome for spreading the word.

Friends of Sarah is preparing a 2008 ballot initiative.
